If you were born between 1946 and 1964, you are a boomer.  A 'baby' boomer to be more precise.  You are a product of proud warriors and lust and prosperity.  If your parents were the 'greatest' generation, then we are their legacy.  Which means we had a lot to live up to.  And maybe we're not quite done yet.

Behind us are three new generations starting with our own children.  We attempted to raise them as our parents raised us and failed miserably.  They are now in control and not always very sympathetic to our plight.

They in turn brought forth Gen X and made a terrible mess of things.

 

Many of us have been putting our parents to rest.  They fought the good war, both literally and figuratively, and given us every 

​

But there are storm clouds ahead. Lesser generations have become derisive and critical.  Some yell out 'boomer!' at the slightest of provocations.  So we must stay together.  We must demand the right to be called 'boomer' in a respectful manner.  And never be referred to as a 'senior.'
